Stream rose up from the rim of the cup, her fingers delicately trailed along the handle of the white porcelain. The tea was lifeless but still steam managed to proudly rise up into the room where the atmosphere was desolate but somewhat beautiful. A weak and fragile hand lifted up a plain digestive and slowly dunked it into the tea. Fragments of the biscuit pulled off, as the mass of the tea pulled the biscuit downwards towards the pit of the cup. Thin painted eyelashes hung, while eyes stayed still. Her small lips opened slightly, as the biscuit was gently pushed in, as if it was unwanted. Her head turned to the window, where the heat of the room built up a winter appearance which made the room echo with morose thoughts. A thick dark tree trunk faced the window, it was strong and sturdy. Branches like long piano fingers grew from the broad tree. Little twigs formed around the base of the tree, as they broke off slowly as they could not survive the winter's harshness and bitterness.
She contemplated life, she thought about all the goals she had to achieve to be a 'normal' human in society. She thought about her sick auntie, she thought about her neglected childhood, she thought about herself. Her lips laced around the brim of the cup, as she began to sip her tea.  Cancer. The fierce and forceful disease where your body is malfunctioned due to blood cells not co-operating correctly. Her auntie had brain cancer; her body was rotting, giving up. Silvia as a child was punished in a sense from her auntie, she was made wear young boys' clothes and she had her hair cut short so she would resemble a boy. Tartan shirts and light blue jeans, to this day she hates those clothes items. When she would see a tartan shirt in a shop window her heart would decay and her emotions would unravel leaving her in a state of revenge but worthlessness. Although funny enough, she always felt like that. However with her auntie dying, she couldn't help but feel disheartened as she was technically her mother, her auntie had been in hospital for months now and her death was very soon. Silvia knew that no-one could postpone the inevitable, so she did not let the soon to be death of her auntie annoy her, but somehow grant her a sense of sick pleasure. As the women who had deprived her of a childhood was finally getting what she deserved. As a child Silvia never had her hair plaited or curled, infact she never had hair long enough to play with or brush while gazing in a mirror which had led lights circulated around the frame. In the eyes of her auntie, she was not pretty enough to be a girl, and making her look like one would be in vain. The door burst open; a thin elongated shape hugged the frame of the door, pasty white skin, and a light pink floral dress. She had eyes like a doll; they were massive and glowing with energy. She spoke gently, "Should you not be seeing your mother? I mean she is dying, you are aware of that." Silvia raised her head slowly and locked her eyes viciously into the eyes looking at her. Her words rushed out in a fierce ball of anger and caustic behaviour, "I am aware, can't one take a break from society and forget about all of life's problems? Oh wait, obviously not. I have to stay with my mother and stay in a state of anguish, huh is that it?" The girl retreated, and walked into the room. She sat facing Silvia, smirked and gave out a small snigger. "I just find it funny how you can be so selfish, but I suppose I should be use to your attitude by now." Silvia was annoyed and yelled so loud that her voice was shaky, "LOOK, I don't care anymore; you can leave me I don't need you or want you." "Whatever you say, it is just your grief, I mean I've known you for years. I just fear this anxiety of yours is eating you alive." The biscuits remained soggy, as the tea was now cold. Her heart sunk, as her words clashed with reality and her surreal visions. She was right, but she could not be proven wrong. "WHATEVER!" She screamed, while she stormed out of the room like a flame being blown out, in a flash.
The howling wind was guided by the amber essence of street lights. The rain spat  while her shoes slipped and collided dancing with the wet and slick grey down below her feet. Her limbs flung fiercely whilst her hair was pushed away with the gale storm winds. Pants and gasps for air painted the picture of her physical state. Fluorescent coloured gates were open, and the park was isolated. She practically fell onto the ground as the gate stung open with her emotions unravelling faster each second. Her heart sunk, her fists clenched. She was no match for this world, she was worthless. She trailed her body over to a small grass hill. She sat with her knees parted as her hands cupped her face as tears came flooding down. The beats of her heart were now faint as her ears echoed with the thumps of her heart. Her mind went into a state of psychological disorder, followed by chronic fatigue, weakness and fear. Thoughts twisted and constricted within her sick mind. She shook violently as she pulled her hair wildly. Words could not be conceived, screams and the slurping noises of her saliva being swallowed. A tree faced her, one branch was prepared to fall off as the wind teased it although the branch remained holding on with thin strings. Silvia hunched her body in a foetal position as she cradled her body in a rocking motion as her saliva and tears mixed in a beautiful natural show of total neurasthenia. She was defenceless, weak and her fears and failures carved into one. The pain hit off every peak of her mind, the pain hit off every nerve and spiralled  around the cells, encoding the cruel visions she had once neglected and blocked out. Visions of her father throwing plates at her, her mother throwing plates at her father, and herself watching such a broken home. She remembered all those times where she was so alone, and she sat in  her room idolising all the girls who were featured in glam magazines and how their bodies were perfection. All the times she peaked out to light coming from the hall and viewed her father drunk and vicious towards her mother. The thoughts rapidly hit Silvia, continuously beating her until all she could think about was her bastard father whom had beaten her mother to death due to his state of being an alcoholic. Her mother faced self inflicted harm, torment and drug abuse, her mother was also no match for this world. Another twig then began to tear off the tree, it swung from side to side. The pain attacked her, again and again. She could not control her self any more. She snapped. She yelled and screamed until her numb felt numb, she collapsed onto the moist and dull grass. She sobbed gently and lay utterly weak. She gave into the world, she gave the world all her bearings. Her soul was trapped, no matter what she done, she could not escape the hands of fate, or so it seemed. The tears became silent and she was just a bundle of disgust as she could not formulae to the hierarchy of human needs like everyone else.
